These terms describe the basis on which FitMyPC provides its compatibility calculators and reference information.

Planning information, not a fit guarantee

FitMyPC provides dimensional estimates and comparison tools. A passing result is not a guarantee that a particular combination can be installed safely or that every physical obstruction, manufacturing revision or installation requirement has been included.

Check manufacturer information

Before purchasing or assembling hardware, check the current specifications, manuals and installation guidance supplied by the case, graphics-card, cooler, power-supply and cable manufacturers. Where FitMyPC and a current manufacturer specification disagree, use the manufacturer's current information.

Estimated data

Some dimensions are explicitly marked as estimated because they are not published consistently across the industry. Do not treat an estimated value as an official manufacturer measurement.

No professional installation service

FitMyPC does not inspect your hardware and does not provide electrical, engineering or system-integration certification. Users remain responsible for safe assembly, adequate cable routing, cooling, electrical connections and compliance with manufacturer instructions.

Availability and corrections

The website and database may be changed, corrected or withdrawn without notice. If you identify a likely error, please report it so that it can be reviewed.
