Privacy Policy
This policy explains how FitMyPC handles information when you use fitmypc.net.
Calculator inputs
The core compatibility calculations run in your browser. You do not need an account to use FitMyPC. Component selections and custom dimensions are not intentionally submitted to a FitMyPC application server simply to perform a clearance calculation.
Shared build links
If you choose to copy a build link, the selected database component identifiers and configuration can be included in the URL so that the combination can be reopened. Avoid putting personal information into optional custom component names.
Analytics and advertising
FitMyPC uses Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage and may use Google AdSense advertising to fund operation of the website. When Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted, personalisation.
Where consent is legally required, advertising or analytics technologies that require consent should be controlled through the site's consent mechanism. Google provides further information about how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services.
Contact enquiries
If you email FitMyPC, the information you include in that message will be used to respond to the enquiry, investigate a reported error or deal with the issue you raised. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unrelated sensitive personal information.
External services
Third-party services have their own privacy practices. Where FitMyPC links to manufacturer documentation, advertising services or other external websites, their privacy policies apply once you leave FitMyPC.
