FitMyPC compares the selected graphics card with the dimensional envelope available inside the selected case. The core check covers GPU length, card height plus a power-cable allowance, and GPU cooler thickness. If a radiator is mounted at the front, its combined radiator-and-fan thickness is deducted from the available GPU length.
The tool deliberately separates published or reference dimensions from estimated values. Where a manufacturer does not publish a consistent side-panel or slot-depth measurement, the result is labelled accordingly rather than being presented as guaranteed fit.
A positive result means the entered dimensions pass the FitMyPC geometric checks; it is not a promise that every physical obstruction has been modelled. Drive cages, brackets, vertical GPU mounts, fan frames, connector orientation, unusual motherboard layouts and product revisions can all affect a real build. Check the exact case and graphics-card documentation before purchasing expensive hardware.
